Iris: Bot for Apple Watch: Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Iris: Bot for Apple Watch ("Iris Bot") is made by Kpaw LLC. It lets you use your existing Grok Bot account from your Apple Watch.

What Iris Bot sends, and to whom

  • Your messages and voice: these go directly from your devices to the Grok Bot service operated by Cursor (Anysphere, Inc.), the service you sign in to. During a voice call, audio streams to the voice service that Grok Bot uses (xAI). Kpaw LLC does not run servers that receive, store or read your messages, voice or Bot conversations. Their handling is governed by Cursor's and xAI's privacy policies.
  • Your sign-in: your Grok Bot sign-in is kept in the Keychain on your devices. The iPhone app passes it to your Apple Watch over Apple's WatchConnectivity and keeps it only until your Watch confirms it received it.

Analytics

The iPhone app sends anonymous usage events (for example, that the app launched or that a sign-in finished) to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. These events contain no message content, no account details and no advertising identifier, and they aren't linked to your identity.

No ads, no tracking

Iris Bot shows no ads and does not track you across apps or websites.

Your choices

You can sign out in the app at any time, which removes your sign-in from the device. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on the device. To manage or delete your Grok Bot data, use your Cursor account.

Children

Iris Bot isn't directed at children under 13.
